1 cup red lentils
Bring water to boil in a medium pan. Rinse lentils. Add lentils to boiling water and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Save boiling water to add to blender later. Drain and cool slightly. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Add water (from boil) as needed to blend.
